Shipping & Delivery

Is my package insured during shipping?

Yes. Every Avianne & Co. order ships fully insured for its full value at no extra cost to you. Orders above a certain value also require an adult signature on delivery — we don't leave high-value jewelry unattended at a door. If a package is lost or damaged in transit, we handle the claim and make it right.

How is my jewelry packaged for shipping?

Discreetly. Every order ships in plain, unbranded outer packaging with nothing on the outside indicating what's inside or who it's from. Your piece is protected in Avianne & Co. presentation packaging within that outer box, so it arrives gift-ready without advertising itself along the way.

How long before my order ships?

In-stock pieces typically ship within 1–2 business days — or overnight if you request it — and you'll receive tracking by email as soon as they do. Custom and made-to-order pieces ship once production is complete — your quote includes that timeline. If you have a hard deadline, tell us before you order and we'll confirm what's possible.

How do I track my order?

You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships, and you can also see it in your account order history. Because our shipments are insured and often require a signature, keep an eye on tracking so you can be there on delivery day. If your tracking hasn't updated in 48 hours, contact us.

Does Avianne & Co. ship internationally?

Yes, and international shipping is free. Avianne & Co. ships worldwide, fully insured, with expedited and overnight options available internationally as well as domestically. International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes and fees set by the destination country — those are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in your order total.

Does Avianne & Co. offer free shipping?

Yes — shipping is free on every order, with no minimum. That includes expedited and overnight service, domestically and internationally, and every package ships fully insured at no extra cost.

Does Avianne & Co. offer express shipping?

Yes, and it's free. Expedited and overnight shipping are available on in-stock pieces, domestically and internationally, at no additional cost. If you're shopping against a deadline — a birthday, an anniversary, a performance — reach out before ordering and we'll confirm the fastest realistic delivery date.

Can I pick up my order in person?

Yes. You're welcome to collect your order at our showroom at 28 W 47th Street, New York, NY 10036. Please call or text (332) 244-4038 before arriving so we can have your piece ready and a team member available. Bring a photo ID matching the order.

Returns, Warranty & Repairs

What is Avianne & Co.'s return policy?

Avianne & Co. accepts returns on eligible items within 14 days of delivery. The piece must be unworn, in original condition, and returned with all original packaging and documentation. Custom and personalized pieces — including name plates, engraved items and made-to-order designs — are final sale. To start a return, contact us and we'll issue a return authorization and insured shipping instructions.

Can I exchange an item?

Yes. If a piece isn't right, we'll exchange it for another item within the return window, as long as it's unworn and in original condition. Exchanges are the easiest path for sizing issues. Custom pieces are not eligible for exchange.

Does Avianne & Co. offer a warranty on jewelry?

Yes. Every Avianne & Co. piece is covered against manufacturing defects. That covers a faulty clasp, a stone that loosens from its setting under normal wear, or a defect in workmanship. Accident protection is powered by Extend.

Does Avianne & Co. repair jewelry?

Yes. Our Diamond District workshop handles clasp replacements, chain solder, stone tightening and replacement, resizing and re-plating. Send photos of the piece and a description of what needs fixing, and we'll quote the work before anything starts.

Does Avianne & Co. offer ring resizing?

Yes. Our Diamond District workshop resizes rings in-house. Eternity bands, tennis-style rings and certain fully-set designs can't be resized because of how the stones are set — for those we'll advise on the best path before you order. Contact us with your order details and we'll confirm what's possible.

Can I cancel or change my order after placing it?

Contact us as soon as possible. If the order hasn't shipped and isn't already in production, we can usually cancel or modify it. Call or email with your order number right away and we'll tell you what's possible.

Custom Jewelry

How does the custom jewelry process work at Avianne & Co.?

Four steps. You send us your idea — a sketch, a photo, a reference image, or just a description. We come back with a quote and a CAD rendering so you see the exact piece before it's made. You approve the design and place a deposit. Our in-house jewelers then cast, set and finish the piece at 28 W 47th Street, and it ships fully insured or you collect it in person.

How much does a custom piece cost at Avianne & Co.?

It comes down to four things: gold karat and metal weight, diamond carat weight, diamond quality, and how complex the setting work is. Custom pieces at Avianne & Co. generally start around $2,000 and run to six figures for a fully iced out one-of-one. Give us a budget and we design to it — you get a firm quote before any work begins.

Do I get to see my custom piece before it's made?

Yes. Every custom order includes a CAD rendering — a photorealistic 3D model of your exact piece — before any metal is cast. You review it, request changes, and we revise until it's right. Nothing goes into production until you've approved the design.

How do I start a custom order?

Fill out our custom order form, email Avianneandco@gmail.com, call (332) 244-4038, or visit our showroom at 28 W 47th Street. The more you give us up front — reference photos, target budget, deadline, metal and stone preference — the faster we can return a real quote.

Do I need to pay a deposit for custom work?

Yes. Custom pieces are made to order and can't be resold, so we take a deposit before production starts and the balance before the piece ships. For higher-value pieces we can structure the balance in stages — ask when you receive your quote.

Can I turn my old jewelry into a custom piece?

Yes. We reset existing stones and melt down old gold toward new designs regularly. Send photos or bring the pieces to our showroom, and we'll evaluate what can be reused and credit the material value toward your new piece. It's the most common way people turn inherited or outdated jewelry into something they'll actually wear.

Can Avianne & Co. make a custom piece from a photo?

Yes. Portrait pendants are one of our most requested custom pieces — we translate a photograph of a person or pet into gold and diamonds, either as a detailed portrait setting or a printed picture pendant. Send us the highest-resolution photo you have; the clearer the source image, the sharper the finished piece.

What kinds of custom pieces does Avianne & Co. make?

Pendants, chains, rings, bracelets, earrings, grillz, watch customization and full one-of-one concept pieces. We've built logo pendants for creators, portrait and memorial pieces, name plates, championship-style rings, and custom Cuban links to exact widths and lengths. If it can be made in gold and diamonds, we've likely made a version of it.

Does Avianne & Co. do rush custom orders?

Often, yes. Because we manufacture in-house in the Diamond District, we can move quickly when a date is on the line. Tell us your deadline up front — some designs turn around in days, others genuinely need the full production time, and we'll be straight with you about which is which.

Can I engrave a piece?

Yes, and engraving is free. We engrave rings, pendants, bracelets and watch casebacks — names, dates, initials, or a short message. It adds a small amount of production time, and engraved pieces are final sale since they can't be resold.

Diamonds & Metals

Are Avianne & Co. diamonds certified?

Yes. Our center stones and engagement ring diamonds come with independent laboratory certification documenting carat weight, cut, color and clarity. Lab grown diamond engagement rings are IGI certified, and natural stones are available with GIA certification. Certification papers ship with the piece. Smaller accent and pavé diamonds set across chains and pendants are not individually certified — standard across the industry — but we document total carat weight and quality grade.

Is Avianne & Co. gold real and stamped?

Yes. Every Avianne & Co. piece is solid gold in the karat listed and is stamped accordingly — 10K, 14K or 18K. We've manufactured in the New York Diamond District since 1999 and stand behind the metal content of everything we sell.

Does Avianne & Co. provide jewelry appraisals?

Yes. We provide a written appraisal documenting the piece, its metal, its diamond weight and quality, and its replacement value — what an insurer needs to write a policy. Every order includes one free, and it can be submitted directly to an insurance company for coverage. We recommend insuring any significant piece, either through a rider on your homeowner's or renter's policy or a specialty jewelry insurer.

Sizing & Care

What chain length should I get?

It depends where you want the chain to sit. 18" sits at the collarbone, 20" just below it, 22" at the top of the chest, 24" mid-chest, and 26"–30" sits low, over the shirt. For a pendant, most people choose 22"–24" so the piece sits centered on the chest. If you're layering, pick two lengths at least 4" apart.

How do I measure my ring size at home?

Wrap a strip of paper or string around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure that length in millimeters — that's your circumference, which maps to a standard ring size. Measure at the end of the day when your fingers are largest, and make sure the strip slides over your knuckle. If you're between sizes or it's a surprise, contact us and we'll help.

What bracelet size should I order?

Measure around your wrist with a soft tape or string, then add about half an inch for a snug fit or a full inch for a looser drape. Most men's bracelets fall between 8" and 9"; most women's between 6.5" and 7.5". Heavier Cuban and tennis bracelets sit better with a little extra room.

How do I clean my diamond jewelry?

Use warm water, a few drops of mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush to gently scrub behind and around the stones, then rinse and pat dry with a lint-free cloth. Diamonds attract oils from skin and lotion, and most "dull" diamonds just need cleaning. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach and abrasive cleaners, and skip ultrasonic cleaners on pieces with many small pavé stones unless a jeweler is operating it.

Can I shower or swim with my chain?

We don't recommend it. Soap and shampoo leave a film that dulls diamonds, chlorine can damage gold alloys over time, and salt water is corrosive. Occasional exposure won't destroy a solid gold piece, but making a habit of it shortens the life of the finish and can loosen settings. Take it off before the shower, the pool and the ocean.

Will my gold jewelry tarnish?

Solid gold doesn't rust or tarnish the way silver does, but the alloy metals mixed in — copper, nickel, silver — can react over time and leave a dull film, especially on lower karats. A quick soap-and-water cleaning restores the shine. What does change is rhodium plating on white gold, which wears over a year or two of regular wear and can be re-plated inexpensively.

How should I store my jewelry?

Store each piece separately in a soft pouch or lined box compartment so pieces don't scratch each other — diamonds scratch gold and other diamonds. Lay chains flat or hang them to prevent kinks and tangles. Keep everything dry and out of the bathroom, where humidity and product overspray collect.
