DESCRIPTION:

Handcrafted by Avianne & Co., this 14K gold engagement ring centers an emerald-cut diamond inside a cushion-shaped halo of round brilliant diamonds. The halo follows the rectangular outline of the center stone closely, framing it with a single row of bright-cut round diamonds that give the setting a bold, defined border. The band is slim and tapered, set with round brilliant pave diamonds running down both shoulders that feed seamlessly into the halo. The profile is low and clean, sitting flat and close to the finger for everyday wearability.

At 1.38 total carats with E-F color and VVS2 clarity, every diamond in this ring sits at the higher end of the grading scale. An emerald cut shows its clarity more openly than a brilliant — the long step facets leave nowhere for inclusions to hide, which is what makes VVS2 worth paying for in this shape.
