DESCRIPTION:

Thirteen millimeters of ring sitting on a mounting that weighs only 5.5 grams. That ratio is the engineering story here: the frame spans most of the width between the knuckles while the metal underneath stays thin enough that the ring does not feel top heavy or fight a neighboring band.

The center stone is a 3.15 carat round cut diamond, prong set, graded G to H in color and VS to SI in clarity. Round cut side stones add 1.15 carats, for a total diamond weight of 4.30 carats across the ring. The mounting is 14K white gold.

G to H is near colorless, the range where a stone looks white to the eye without paying for a colorless grade. SI1 to VS2 across the set means inclusions are not visible to the naked eye at normal viewing distance. White gold carries a rhodium plating that wears thin over several years of daily wear and is simply replated, a routine service rather than a repair.
