The remaining 3.00 carats are split between baguette and round cut diamonds set along the shoulders. Mixing the two cuts changes how the band behaves in light: the baguettes throw broad flat flashes while the rounds scatter, so the sides stay active instead of reading as one continuous line of sparkle.
