DESCRIPTION:

Every diamond on this ring is a princess cut, and that single decision is what makes it look the way it does. The center stone is a brilliant princess cut weighing 3.93 carats, prong set and clarity enhanced, a disclosed treatment that improves the appearance of the stone's inclusions. Both sides of the band carry further princess cut diamonds adding 2.00 carats, for a total diamond weight of 5.93 carats.

Running square stones down the shoulders means the side set has no gaps of visible metal between stones the way a row of rounds does. The result is a continuous ribbon of diamond with sharp edges rather than a dotted line. It also accounts for the weight: this mounting is 20.7 grams of 14K white gold, among the heaviest built here, because channels for square stones need more metal than beads holding rounds. The band measures 10 mm in width.

Clarity across the ring is SI1 to VS2 and color is G to H. SI1 to VS2 means inclusions are not visible to the naked eye, and G to H is the near colorless range, which stays white against white gold without paying the premium for a colorless grade.
